The beauty of Northern Wisconsin is certainly breathtaking. The magnificent pines, the crystal clear lakes and the starry, black nights make for great vacations and long-lasting memories. Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of time or the desire to make this six or more hour drive to reach this destination.

Did you know that Wisconsin also has dozens of just as clear lakes, mighty pines and fantastic fishing within 100 miles of Milwaukee? Within a two hour drive from Chicago, are homes, cottages and destinations just waiting to be explored, pike waiting to be caught, campfire stories waiting to be told.

Currently we have a four bedroom, five bath home available on Middle Genessee Lake, minutes from downtown Oconomowoc.  45 minutes from Milwaukee's airport and two hours from Chicago O'Hare, this Ray Prell designed home offers a taste of mid-century modern with the up north vibe you've been looking for.  Seven acres and 450' of clean frontage allows for an incredible amount of peace and privacy and enjoyable swimming and boating (canoe and fishing boat provided). Ultra comfortable sleeping for ten can be expected with one king, two queens, two twins and a full size sofa sleeper on site.

Middle Genessee Lake is an idyllic 100 acre fresh water lake located in the heart of Waukesha's "Lake Country".  Minutes from walkable downtown Oconomowoc, 13 miles from the Kettle Moraine State Forest and Ice Age Trail and 8 miles from Old World Wisconsin, there is plenty to do and see beyond this vacation destination.

  We are now accepting 2010 reservations! Rates are $1500/wk, Labor Day weekend rate is $1800.

50% non-refundable deposit due 30 days prior to reservation. Balance due one week before reservation.
Currently available dates: June 16-26, July 20-30, August 29 - September 9 (Labor Day Weekend). Weekend rates are available after September 15th, perfect for impressive autumn leaf tours or downhill skiing at nearby Olympia.
